The total cost of its exploding airbag crisis could cost the Takata Corporation as much as $24 billion, according to analysis from the Tokyo-based company.



Takata has been executing recalls for the past several years to replace airbag inflators that have propensity for exploding and propelling shrapnel at drivers. The recall effort began in 2004, but injuries and deaths from the exploding inflators continue to be reported.



While safety regulators, like the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have allowed Takata time to remedy the situation but patience is wearing thin, according to a report from Bloomberg, and a total recall could be in order.



The $24 billion is just a worst-case scenario project, but if Takata is forced to execute anything even close to a total recall, it could be crippling for the company. Takata has sold roughly 287.5 million airbag inflators to automakers around the world since 2001, including Honda, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Saab, Volkswagen and Audi, according to a report from Reuters.





Some of the total recall costs could be absorbed by the automakers involved, but that would have to be negotiated between all the parties. Either way, the future looks grim for Takata.

Seoul: Birds living among people are able to differentiate between individual humans but scientists have now found that skuas living in remote Antarctica can also recognise people who had previously accessed their nests.



The researchers from Inha University and Korea Polar Research Institute in South Korea performed a series of experiments on brown skuas living in Antarctica.



They checked the nests once a week to monitor the breeding status and the skuas attacked when researchers visited repeatedly.



To test if the birds specifically distinguish the researchers who visited the nests from those who did not, a pair of humans consisting of nest intruder — who accessed the nests — and neutral human — who never accessed the nests before — approached the nests and walked towards the opposite directions.



All seven skua pairs followed and tried to attack the nest intruder but never followed the neutral human.



“I had to defend myself against the skuas’ attack,” said Yeong-Deok Han, a PhD student at Inha University. “When I was with other researchers, the birds flew over me and tried to hit me. Even when I changed my field clothes, they followed me. The birds seemed to know me no matter what I wear,” Han said.



“It is amazing that brown skuas, which evolved and lived in human-free habitats, recognised individual humans just after 3 or 4 visits. It seems that they have very high levels of cognitive abilities,” said Won Young Lee, a Senior Researcher from Korea Polar Research Institute who led the research.



The cognitive abilities of Antarctic animals have not been well studied before, researchers said. Brown skuas have been recorded to steal food from other birds or even steal breast milk of nursing elephant seals.



According to the researchers, this opportunistic feeding habits may make them cleverer with time. “Since this area has been inhabited by humans only after the Antarctic research stations were installed, we think that the skuas could acquire the discriminatory abilities during a short-term period of living near humans,” Lee said.

Street Fighter V’s March update is to launch on March 28th, but the micro transaction store isn’t quite ready. To make up for the fact that players wouldn’t be able to purchase Alex, who joins the roster on March 30th, he’s being given out to all players on a free trial.



The in-game store will open on March 28th, allowing players to spend their hard earned Fight Money. However, it doesn’t support microtransaction currency Zenny, which is purchased with real money, just yet. Capcom says this is being pushed back to ensure it’s "fully tested and optimized."



To make up for this inconvenience, Alex is being released for free on a trial basis until the Zenny shop launches. Meanwhile, Season Pass owners will get their hands on a free stage in the near future, and exclusive access to DLC characters’ premium costumes until the Zenny shop launches.



The Street Fighter V March update adds multiplayer lobbies for up to 8 players, match spectating, a Challenge Mode, and additional Ranked Match options.

Bethesda finally releases the new and first DLC for Fallout 4 called the Automatron DLC this week and while most people were busy coming out with a robot companion of the own, other were searching the game for some hidden features that we all know is there.







One of the hidden features you will find in the new DLC is the Automatron Pip-Boy Minigame which is located at the Ford Hagen Satellite Array. Here is how you can find and play the mini game.



In the Headhunting mission, you will need to go to the Ford Hagen Satellite Array. Get to the bunker beneath the Ford, it will be unlocked as part of the quest. Locate Automatron which is at the terminal after you defeat Ahab.



You should be able to find a glowing bottle of Nuka Cola next to the terminal. Read the notes left by Ivery and you can start playing the minigame.

If you are using an LG V10 on the Verizon network, you might already be knowing that the carrier had announced the rollout of Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the V10 yesterday. The good news is that Verizon has kept its promise and the LG V10 Marshmallow update is rolling out now. The software version for the new update is VS99022A, and it comes with all the Marshmallow features like new app permissions, Google Now on Tap, Doze Mode, etc.



If you own a Verizon-locked LG V10, you can go to Settings > About phone > Software updates > Check for update and see whether the OTA update has arrived on your device. No links for the firmware have been posted online, but they will surely appear soon on XDA Developers just in case you prefer manual upgrades over the OTA ones.



Before you download and install the update, make sure that the battery of your LG V10 is charged and the an adequate amount of storage space is available, as the LG V10 Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is a huge one. In case you have rooted your V10, the new update might or might not break the root, so proceed with caution.

Well, it's a small iPhone.



That is what I can tell you about the new iPhone SE, which essentially takes the powerful processor from the iPhone 6S and puts it into a 4-inch design. Apart from the new rose gold color, it's almost completely indistinguishable from the iPhone 5 or (now-discontinued) 5S. Same chamfers, same screen, same bezels. If there's any surprise, it's that Apple didn't skimp on anything here (except, of course, the storage). The camera is the same 12-megapixel shooter you'd get on an iPhone 6S, except here it's even better because it doesn't stick out at all.



For two years now, Apple os top-of-the-line iPhone made people accept the trend of larger phones — but even though most people who made the switch felt fine with a 4.7-inch phone, there were bound to be some people that are not. For those people, the iPhone SE offers a modern, powerful update.



Usually, getting a small phone has meant getting a phone that skimps on power or on the camera (or, most likely, both). That is absolutely not the case with the iPhone SE. It feels every bit as fast and modern as an iPhone 6S, able to move quickly through screens and web pages. Obviously we weren't able to test the camera very extensively, but we can say that it launches quickly and takes photos just as fast.



But seriously, you havve all seen an iPhone 5 or 5S. You know what it looks like. That is both good and bad: there are certain aesthetics on this body that I do not think have aged very well — the glass bits on the back in particular. But then again, sticking with the same body (and the same thickness) has maybe given Apple an opportunity to push the other elements forward. The camera doesn't stick out, for example, and hopefully Apple has put in a large enough battery to make this thing last as long as its larger cousins.



I just keep saying it because there is not much more to say: this looks like an iPhone — and people who want that smaller size are going to really like it.

Late last year, at Sony’s PlayStation Experience expo, Epic Games revealed Paragon, a third-person MOBA slated to arrive on both PC and consoles in 2016. Now, the day to try it out for yourself is finally here — at least in the form of early access. However, there are a few prerequisites you should be aware of before you prematurely “prepare for victory.”

The first is that you’ll need to purchase one of three Founder’s Packs, ranging from $20 to $100. The basic Founder’s Pack gives you everything essential to playing the game, while the $60 Challenger Pack and the $100 Master Pack include that and the addition of in-game cosmetics, already-unlocked unlockables, and an extra Founder’s Pack to give away to a friend.



The other thing you need to be aware of, of course, are the system requirements for the game running on your PC. Fortunately, you don’t need a beast of a gaming rig to meed the minimum specs, as described by the official Paragon FAQ:



If your computer can’t run the game in its current state, Epic suggests avoiding the early access version for now and opting to “check back later,” as the game continues to undergo optimizations and improvements for low-end PCs. The post goes on to describe tests with a wide range of graphics cards, including the GeForce GTX 980 Ti, which boasts a whopping 87fps, at the higher end of the spectrum, and the GeForce GT 540M at the bottom, barely pulling off 12fps even on the lowest settings.



Paragon joins Overwatch and Battleborn in a year when non-traditional, MOBA-like games have been arriving across multiple platforms.

Microsofts exclusive title Quantum Break, which is expected to hit the Xbox One and Microsoft Windows PC on 5 April, is running at 720p resolution according to a report by Digital Foundry.



Digital Foundry experts spent time playing two chapters of Quantum Break at the game developer Remedys headquarters. Remedy is well known for its Max Payne and Alan Wake game franchises. According to them, Quantum Break graphics have been dumbed down to ensure that the game is playable on the Xbox One.



“In every scene tested so far, a native resolution of 720p is the consistent result found in each pixel count test – so while theres every possibility of individual render targets operating at higher resolutions, basic geometry that were able to measure hands in a 720p result as things stand,” explained Digital Foundry.



This is in contrast with what Remedy had stated in its whitepaper at SIGGRAPH 2015. It stated that its final image was in 1080p but screen-space lighting is evaluated at 1280 x 720 pixel resolution.



Expecting a 1080p gameplay on Xbox One isnt asking for much as 720p is what was the norm with Xbox 360. Remedy claims that on Windows 10 PC though, Quantum Break will be playable at 1080p at 30fps. But Digital Foundry did not have any comments on it as they did not test it.



“But lets not forget that there's also a PC version in development too. We didnt have time to sample this at the press event, but Remedy were pretty open on the state of the build at that time. Limited to 1080p at 30fps, it still required plenty of work before launch. The developer is promising a maximum 4K experience at 60fps, but it remains to be seen exactly how this will pan out, or exactly what kind of hardware will be required to make this happen,” said Digital Foundry.



It goes on to mention how Gears of War: Ultimate Edition did not perform as expected on the Windows 10 platform.

Nintendo on Thursday rolled out its first smartphone game after years of refusing to stray from a consoles-only policy as it tries to better compete with rivals.



The Japanese company has struggled as Sony and Microsoft outpaced it in console sales, while the three companies are also fighting off a trend toward cheap--even free--downloadable games for smartphones and other mobile devices.



Kyoto-based Nintendo had been criticised for its longstanding refusal to license some of its iconic brands for use on mobile applications.



Now, free-to-play "Miitomo" allows players to create their own "Mii" avatars, customise their outfit through in-app purchases and interact with characters created by other people or friends.



Mii avatars also ask questions to players such as "What did you do on the weekend?" and "What is your favourite food?," with the answers shared with other characters.





The release of the smartphone game "is another step forward" for Nintendo to increase the number of people who play games, a spokesman told AFP.







The game was only released In Japan initially but will be rolled out in 15 other countries including the United States and France in eight languages this month, he said.



The move comes after the maker of the Super Mario and Pokemon franchises last year announced a tie-up with Tokyo-based mobile gaming company DeNA to develop games for smartphones.



Nintendo also bought a stake in DeNA as part of a deal to develop smartphone games based on its host of popular characters, possibly including Super Mario and Donkey Kong.



Then Nintendo President Satoru Iwata, a leading figure in the videogame industry who died from cancer in July at the age of 55, had said the Nintendo-DeNA tie-up would help tap a new customer base.

The biggest Halo eSports championship ever begins this Friday, with teams from around the world competing for a $2.5 million prize pool. The winners will take home $1 million in prize money.



Over 900 registered teams, comprised of over 4,000 players have competed in the tournament so far. Tomorrow, the remaining 16 teams—hailing from the USA, Mexico, the UK, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore—will go toe-to-toe for glory, fame, and fortune. Or something like that.



According to Microsoft, that $1 million prize is “the biggest individual prize in console eSports history” though it still pales in comparison to some PC eSports prizes, such as the 2015 1st place prize for The International, the Dota 2 championship, in which the Evil Geniuses took home $6.6 million. In fact, the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th place teams all took home over $1 million in 2015, with the 7th place team bringing in over $800,000.





Still, $1 million is no laughing matter, and it’s great to see the Halo world championship ramp up in 2016. Halo 5′s multiplayer is a blast, and watching real pros compete should be fun.

Google has reportedly put Boston Dynamics up for sale, according to Bloomberg, and is entertaining offers from Toyota and Amazon.



While it may come as a bit of a surprise to casual observers — especially considering that the public-facing products coming from the lab suggest their efforts are fruitful — internal strife at Google may be to blame.



Internal Boston Dynamics meeting memos leaked to other Googlers show the company was at odds with Google/Alphabet brass. Boston Dynamics was brought on to push Google’s robotics effort — codenamed Replicant — forward. In a November meeting, now-former Replicant chief Jonathan Rosenberg said, “we as a startup of our size cannot spend 30-plus percent of our resources on things that take ten years.”



He went on to add “there’s some time frame that we need to be generating an amount of revenue that covers expenses and [that] needs to be a few years.”





In December, Replicant was folded into Google X. At a meeting with Replicant staff, Google X chief Astro Teller reportedly told those working on robotics that if their efforts weren’t going to be the practical solutions Google wanted, they’d be reassigned.



Curiously, Boston Dynamics was never folded into Google X along with Replicant. That leads us to this report. Google X went so far as to distance themselves from Boston Dynamics videos like the scary reindeer Christmas video or more recently, a humanoid bot carrying a package, because the response from the public was less than glowing.



Boston Dynamics believes it has the answer to robotics, while Google X seems to be on the fence about whether or not robots are the path it really wants to take.



Google also seems to be sensing a ‘Google Glass’ moment, wherein the unexpected public backlash they’ve experienced has now caused them to rethink their efforts.

"Impaired driving can ruin more than just a good celebration," said Amy Stracke, managing direcor ot traffic safety advocacy for the auto club. "Please plan ahead to make sure you and your loved ones make it home safely."



Tow to Go will be available in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee from anytime Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday.

Scans carried out by Japanese radar technologist Hirokatsu Watanabe "suggest the presence of two empty spaces or cavities beyond the decorated North and West walls of the Burial Chamber," officials at Egypt's antiquities ministry said in a statement released to media. The scans also suggest the "presence of metallic and organic substances," and show what could be door lintels that indicate the presence of doorways, they said. Archaeologists will conduct the next series of radar scans at the end of March to try to confirm the existence of the chambers and get a better idea of their dimensions.





Last year, Nicholas Reeves, a professor at the University of Arizona, published findings that suggested the existence of these mysterious chambers. In that research, he said the chambers could hold the burial of Queen Nefertiti, the wife of the pharaoh Akhenaten (King Tut's father). Reeves said he found evidence that Nefertiti's name had been carefully erased in some cases and replaced with that of the boy king, suggesting that some of Tutankhamun's burial equipment was originally made for Nefertiti.





The radar images showed anomalies that the scientists interpreted as artifacts within two chambers. However, it can be a challenging task to distinguish a human-made chamber or artifact from a natural feature.



The Valley of the Kings, where the tomb resides, has a variety of geological features that often pop up on radar. Researchers have noted in the past that it is difficult to avoid false positives in the Valley of the Kings. There are "many faults and natural features that can look like walls and tombs," Afifi Ghonim, the field director of one of the most extensive explorations of the Valley, told Live Science in 2013.



"There are a lot of things, like chert nodules, that populate the bedrock of the Valley," Glen Dash, who conducted radar work on an expedition in the Valley by former Antiquities Minister Zahi Hawass, wrote in a working paper he published online last year, before the radar results came out. "There are fissures, seams of chert and gypsum, and voids in the bedrock known as karsts. They are so common that there was really no place in the Valley that we did not encounter them."



Because the radar images have just been released, it will take time for radar experts not involved with the project to analyze the results. Dash has not commented publicly on these new results.

Hellblade will now officially be known as Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, creator Ninja Theory has announced. The new name was revealed on a pretty new poster, which shows off heroine Senua's new look.



The announcement follows a reinvention of sorts for the self-published game. We saw a prototype at Gamescom last August and were unconvinced, but Ninja Theory clarified its showing as a "testbed of ideas" that may be kept or may be thrown away when full production got under way (it is now).



Since then we've had glimpses at the game's development via developer diaries on the Hellblade website. They've shown us the great lengths Ninja Theory is going to to create a visually believable heroine, employing some space-age body scanning technology for the job. It should be a pretty game.



But we haven't seen anything significant enough to understand how greatly the Gamescom prototype, and the ideas in it, have changed. Those ideas were Senua as a sufferer of psychosis, and this manifesting in a number of different ways, both in puzzles and in combat. But those puzzles and combat were shallow, and the game world felt bland and at times contrived.



Nevertheless, Ninja Theory is a name of a repute, responsible for DmC: Devil May Cry, Enslaved and Heavenly Sword, so there's hope - although it's worth remembering that Hellblade will be a significantly cheaper project in terms of budget as a self-published experiment.

Sony has finally announced that the PlayStation VR will cost $399, and it will be available in October 2016. The company shared the news this afternoon during a short keynote at the 2016 Game Developer Conference in San Francisco, CA.



That price could almost be considered cheap if you already own a PlayStation 4, and even if you don't, the total cost is much less than Sony's VR competitors. The Oculus Rift starts at $599 and Valve's HTC Vive will sell for $799, but both of those headsets require powerful PCs that can cost much more than the $299 PS4.



But there are a few catches: the base level PlayStation VR doesn't come with the company's Move controllers, and it also doesn't come with the PlayStation Camera — which is required to use PSVR. A Sony rep tells us this is because many PS4 owners have already bought the camera. PlayStation VR bundles will be sold, and those would likely include things like the camera and the Move controllers, but Sony declined to share any more detail.





Sony confirmed that the consumer version of the PlayStation VR will have the same technical specs that we've heard about: the main 5.7-inch OLED screen is capable of displaying games at up to 120 frames per second, and has a resolution of "1920 x RGB x 1080," meaning each pixel gets full RGB color.



The company also promised that 50 games will be released between the October launch and the end of the year. Sony didn't give us a ton of details beyond that, but it did announce that there would be a VR version of Star Wars: Battlefront that will be exclusive to the PlayStation VR.







Unlike the Oculus Rift, which we've seen grow from a duct-taped Frankenstein's monster of a device to something that actually looks consumer-ready, not much has changed since PlayStation VR was announced two years ago at GDC. (Back then it was known as Project Morpheus.) Some of the internals have been improved in that time, but the overall look of Sony's consumer VR project remains the same: a visor-like strap holds the white and black headset in front of your face, and users can play games with PlayStation's Move or DualShock 4 controllers.



The headset has nine LEDs for 360-degree head tracking, and Sony claims it has latency of "less than 18ms." The big question is whether those specs, when combined with the PlayStation 4, will be powerful enough to drive experiences as good as what you can get on the Oculus Rift or the HTC Vive. The PlayStation VR experience may not be able to live up to the quality of the ones offered by its competitors, but Sony is slotting in at a total price point that’s significantly less.

Pretty soon, video game players on an Xbox One could battle against owners of the PlayStation 4 without needing to switch consoles.



On Monday, Microsoft announce it will introduce cross-network support for Xbox One, which means game developers can offer the option to let players go online and compete against others with different devices, including PC and console.



Currently, Microsoft allows cross-platform play. As long as users have an Xbox Live account, compatible games will support players on Xbox or a Windows 10 PC. The cross-network feature could allow players on Sony's PlayStation Network, for example, battle friends on an Xbox One in the same game.



The first game to feature this is the hit multiplayer game Rocket League. In a separate statement, developers at Psyonix say cross-network play between Xbox One and PC will arrive this spring. Details on support for other platforms is "coming soon."



Chris Charla, the director of Microsoft's ID@Xbox program, says the company has extended an "open invitation" to other networks to participate.



Cross-network play represents a big step in online gaming. Previously, owners of a specific console could only play online with other owners of the same device. Recently, Microsoft introduced cross-platform play where Xbox Live players could go against either console or PC players.



Meanwhile, Sony already plays host to cross-platform play through fighting game Street Fighter V, which allows PS4 players to fight against PC players.

The idea of unprecedented geo-engineering such as pumping water masses onto the Antarctic continent has been investigated by scientists at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact.



While the pumped water would certainly freeze to solid ice, the weight of it would speed up the ice-flow into the ocean at the Antarctic coast. To store the water for a millenium, it would have to be pumped at least 700 kilometer inland, the team found. Overall that would require more than one tenth of the present annual global energy supply to balance the current rate of sea-level rise.



Lead-author Katja Frieler said, "We explored a way to at least delay the rise of sea level we can no longer avoid by even the strictest climate-change mitigation strategies. This is estimated to reach about 40 cm by the end of the century. Our approach is definitely extreme, but so is the challenge of sea-level rise."



Burning fossil fuels leads to greenhouse-gas emissions that drive up global temperatures. Consequently, the thermal expansion of ocean water and the melting of glaciers and ice-sheets slowly raise sea levels, which will continue for millennia. Under unabated warming, sea level rise may exceed 130 centimeters by 2100.



"This is huge. Local adaptation, for instance building dikes, will not be physically possible or economically feasible everywhere," Frieler says, adding "Protection may depend on your economic situation - so New York might be saved, but sadly not Bangladesh, and this clearly raises an equity issue."



She noted that they wanted to check whether sacrificing the uninhabited Antarctic region might theoretically enable them to save populated shores around the world. Rising oceans are already increasing storm surge risks, threatening millions of people worldwide, and in the long run can redraw the planet's coastlines.



The scientists addressed the problem from an ice-dynamics perspective, using state-of-the-art computer simulations of Antarctica. Since the ice is continually moving, ocean water put on its surface can only delay sea-level rise and if it is placed too close to the coast, ice-sheet mass loss and thus sea-level rise after some time could even increase, they found. As a consequence the water has to be pumped a long way inland onto the ice sheet.



The costs are expected to be much higher than those associated with local adaptation in other studies, though these measures by definition are limited in scope and scale, the scientists stated.



"The magnitude of sea-level rise is so enormous, it turns out it is unlikely that any engineering approach imaginable can mitigate it," concludes co-author Anders Levermann, adding "Even if this was feasible, it would only buy time - when we stop the pumping one day, additional discharge from Antarctica will increase the rate of sea-level rise even beyond the warming-induced rate. This would mean putting another sea-level debt onto future generations."



Also, the most sensitive coastal ecosystems of Antarctica would of course be seriously affected by this measure.

Pokken Tournament is set for a stateside release next Friday, and some lucky players out there have managed to grab an early copy of Nintendo's upcoming fighting title.



Even though Bandai Namco had a heavy hand in the development of this game, many feel that this Pokemon-based fighter will stray from the traditional fighting game style and play more along the lines of free-moving 3D games like the Naruto Ninja Storm series -- which are also developed by Bandai Namco. Luckily, Shofu's latest video shows us that there might be more depth to Pokken Tournament than we originally thought.



Shofu explains how the game works, noting that there are two different phases in each match: field phase and dual phase. In the former, combatants run around the stage freely, firing projectiles at each other and attempting to land a hit in order to transition into dual phase.



Once there, players will do battle on a 2D plane, bringing forth new combo opportunities and a more traditional fighting feel. The game also features familiar techniques such as anti-airs, counter special moves, and more.

Mercedes-AMG has revealed the most powerful version of its new E-Class to date, but the new E43 is destined to be something of an "AMG Lite" as the forthcoming E63 will slot above it in the performance hierarchy.



While the latter is almost certain to sport a variant of AMG's latest twin-turbo V8 family, the new E43 4Matic bridges the gap to 'civilian' models with a 3-litre twin-turbo V6 rated at 295kW and 520Nm. Yet it's practically a super-saloon in its own right, with Mercedes claiming it'll sprint from 0-100km/h in just 4.6 seconds.



Expect it to be a much calmer beast than those tail-happy AMG sedans that have power-slid their way out of Affalterbach in recent years. For starters, the E43 has all-wheel drive. A 9-speed 9G-Tronic automatic gearbox sends power to all four wheels through a 4Matic system that still caters for oversteer enthusiasts by sending 69 percent of the power to the rear wheels.



Other sporty bits separating it from regular E sedans are a retuned sports chassis based on the Air Body Control air suspension system (meaning it'll still be comfy when you want it to be) and a more direct steering ratio.



Setting it apart on the outside are a set of five-spoke, 19-inch alloys in high-gloss black, a diamond grille and gloss black louvre up front and a silver-chrome diffuser and spoiler lip at the back end. The cabin is AMG-ified with sports seats with Dinamica microfiber inserts, black roof lining, red seatbelts, flat-bottomed steering wheel, AMG instrument cluster with race-timer and exclusive AMG-style pedals.

Garth Brooks is hoping fans will understand that songwriting isn't like riding a bicycle. The country phenom penned a note to to his Facebook followers today explaining his need for more time to craft his next album.



"I made the statement that when we came back on the road and into the studio, I was not confident in my own writing…it is a muscle and if you do not use it, you just can't turn it back on again…it takes time," writes the singer, who went 13 years in between studio albums before releasing 2014's Man Against Machine. "But I DID hear you. And because of that, teamed with the touring schedule, I am asking a huge favor from you, I am postponing the release of the new studio record…I ask for your patience as I explore the writing again. I have been at it for over four months now, enjoying the challenge and enjoying the studio more because of it."



Brooks co-wrote three of Man Against Machine's 14 tracks. The LP was a sales and critical success but only produced two radio singles, "People Loving People" and "Mom," which bowed at Numbers 19 and 32, respectively, on Billboard's Country Airplay charts. Machine will be succeeded by a project that's promised to have more of a personal stamp.



"This new album will be the most Garth thing I have ever done," writes the six-time ACM Entertainer of the Year, "Whether that is a good thing or a bad thing, you will decide."



Brooks is in the midst of a giant world tour with wife Trisha Yearwood. He continues to announce the trek's stops one city at a time, with his latest revelation being a May trip to Fargo, North Dakota, for his first show there in 17 years.

Sydney - Scientists in Australia say they have discovered a large spider that can surf, swim and catch fish.



The spider is the size of the palm of a hand, can walk on water and eats fish, frogs, tadpoles and even the poisonous cane toad.



Australian researchers named the spider Dolomedes Briangreenei, in honour of Columbia University physics professor Brian Greene and co-founder of the World Science Festival currently being held in Brisbane.



The spider uses vibrations or tiny waves on the surface of the water to navigate to its prey.



"When disturbed or hauling in captured fish, they will plunge through the surface of the water and swim quickly to hide on the bottom," Dr Raven, Principal Scientist of Arachnology at the Queensland Museum said in a statement released on Thursday by the Festival.



The spider can even dive below the surface to seize fish or hide on the bottom.

Most people at some time experience sleepless nights or insomnia. It is thought that ten percent of the population experience chronic insomnia and about fifty percent are effected to some degree. Insomnia is not a disease, but a symptom of something else. The definition of insomnia is "habitual sleeplessness, not being able to stay asleep or not being able to fall asleep or both". Insomnia can be contributed to the amount of sleep one gets and also the quality of sleep a person gets. People tend to have a large range in the amount of sleep they need, that is why insomnia is not defined by the amount of sleep a person gets. Most people know when they are suffering from insomnia based on how they feel the next day. The medical community will diagnose insomnia based on how long the problem has been occurring. Not all medical professionals agree on the symptoms of insomnia, but general guidelines are listed below.



Transient Insomnia - Insomnia that last a week or less.



Short Term Insomnia - Insomnia that last between one and three weeks.



Chronic Insomnia - Insomnia that last more then three weeks.

All age groups are effected by insomnia. Insomnia tends to effect more women then men in adults. As people age insomnia tends to increase. Insomnia is most common in lower income levels, people with mental health problems and alcoholics. Stress is considered the major cause or trigger for insomnia. It is important to do something about transient and short term insomnia so it does not develop into chronic insomnia.



What can cause insomnia?

Insomnia can be caused by a wide range of things. Typically they can be categorized into the groups psychiatric, medical or situational factors. Some of the common causes of short term and transient insomnia include - work schedule changes, irritating noise, jet lag, stress, sleeping room temperature, medical problems, drug withdraws, altitude.



Chronic insomnia is usually related to a medical condition or psychiatric condition. Some psychiatric things that cause insomnia are stress, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Doctors use the symptom of insomnia in diagnoses of mental illness and depression. This does not mean that if you suffer from insomnia that you suffer from depression or a mental illness.



There are also several physical conditions that can cause insomnia. These include - disorder in the circadian rhythm, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, heart condition, angina, acid reflux, asthma, sleep apnea, parkinson's or alzheimer's disease and brain trauma. People who fall into the following categories are considered high risk for insomnia - travelers, people who change shifts often, senior adults, pregnant women, students and women experiencing menopause. There are also several different types of medication related to insomnia, these include - cold and asthma medication, high blood pressure medication along with medication used to treat anxiety and depression. Some other causes of insomnia can include caffeine, nicotine, alcohol (will cause poor quality of sleep) and a bed partner who is disruptive.



Some common symptoms of insomnia include - not being able to fall asleep or stay asleep, problems concentrating when awake, problem remembering things, poor coordination, bad moods, trouble staying awake while driving. When people have these symptoms they sometimes make their insomnia worse by treating them with excessive amounts of caffeine, energy drinks and stimulants.

In this modern era, there are about a zillion different ways information can leak about an upcoming game. But lately, data mining has been the weapon of choice for intrepid fans looking to extract info about unreleased game. Now, The Division has been mined by redditor itsgamerdoc, and the data answers at least one significant question about the game.



The game turned up well over a hundred weapons extracted from the game, but the most interesting bit of information is that the mining revealed the total number of story missions in the game, which is supposed to be 26.



People are extrapolating that since the two missions in the beta took about 20-30 minutes each, that this means The Division’s story will be about 10-11 hours long. The implication is that this is a small number, and for an MMO shooter like The Division where players are supposed to spend hundreds of hours, that’s a bad sign.





While I’m all for criticizing games that have sparse content, if this 26 mission number is accurate, I’m not sure The Division deserves this kind of scorn. Other recent campaigns have far less missions than that. Halo 5 has 15 story missions. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has 11. And even Destiny, The Division’s alleged competitor, only shipped with about 20 story missions in the base game. Destiny did also have strikes and eventually a raid, but it’s unclear if The Division may have similar activities outside the story that aren’t known yet.







Furthermore, I’m not convinced that the last mission of the game is going to only be as long as the first mission of the game, meaning the time total could be stretched. And it’s important to remember that these missions are meant to be replayed on harder difficulties for loot and XP, which is not true of many other games. So yes, you will play these through once at it might take you ten hours, but ask any Destiny player, who will tell you that will be playing the game probably five, ten or twenty times through if you stick with it for a longer period of time. Whether that’s “grindy design” is up for debate, but I also don’t think we can expect every game to have 50 story missions like it’s a Hideo Kojima production.



And of course, there’s The Dark Zone, which is supposed to be where the bulk of the endgame lies. Players can obviously spend an incalculable amount of time there, and also just wandering around the non-Dark Zone part of the map, so to hear people saying The Division is a “ten hour game” after this leak is more than a little disingenuous.



There are a few more story bits from the leak that are interesting. There appear to be missions set in Brooklyn, which some fans leapt at saying that it must be DLC on the disc already (Brooklyn DLC is supposedly coming for the game), but it actually is probably the case that the first few story missions are actually set in Brooklyn, before you fly into Manhattan which is where the beta picks up (I believe this was confirmed by the team already). There’s also a DLC-labeled mission called “Kill the Tank,” which sounds awesome, along with allusions to other types of vehicles, though it’s unclear if they can be controlled by the player. No footage has shown players in any sort of vehicle to date.



It’s a pretty interesting leak, and you can read more from it here. I do think fans are using it to freak out unnecessarily about a few items, however, as given the context, 26 missions does not seem like a small amount, and I don’t think there’s actually a ton of cut content on the disc waiting to be unlocked through DLC or anything.



The Division launches on Tuesday, and we in the press aren’t getting review copies until release day itself, so expect some oddly timed coverage over the next week.

The first exercise that you will learn is called dips. You will need two chairs that are the same for this exercise. This exercise will work on your triceps and your stomach. Place the chairs next to each other so that the seats are facing outwards. Make sure that the chairs will not collapse under your weight either. There are two different ways you can do this. You can keep your feet underneath your body as you push up and down with your arms or if you wish to work on your stomach you can keep your feet out in front of you. This will be one of the most intense workouts you can give your body, but it is great for sculpting and muscle gain.



Another exercise you can do is the wall stand. Get on your hands and knees so that your feet are facing against the wall. Make sure your hands are about 2 feet away from the wall and then start to walk your way up. You should then have your feet up in the air against the wall and your hands on the ground. Hold this position as long as possible and then slowly walk yourself down the wall again. This is great for your arms and back and especially your shoulders. If you want to get even better with this you can learn to do this without having your feet resting against the wall and voila, a handstand.



Do not forget about your basics such as sit-ups and push-ups for your body transformation. They may not be very fun, but they are the most basic and probably the most beneficial. Combining all of this with a proper diet and regular aerobic exercises such as running, you are sure to get that complete body transformation you always wanted. It will not hurt that all the girls will start looking at you now either.

Who didn't think that Far Cry Primal emerged remarkably soon after Far Cry 4? There were two years separating Far Cries 3 and 4 versus one between 4 and Primal, but Ubisoft assured us that Primal is a full-scale Far Cry game and not an expand alone like Blood Dragon. However, a discovery by Game Pressure suggests that Ubisoft had a head-start at the level design stage. The maps for Far Cry 4's Kyrat and Primal's Oros are extraordinarily similar.



It's possible that Ubi's map designers have pumped out so darn many of the things that they just forgot what wilderness they'd already developed: the main watercourse in Primal is more cohesive than in Far Cry 4, for one thing. However, the arrangement of lakes and tributaries and the overall layout of the biomes is so striking that it's hard not to see crafty recycling behind it.



Ubisoft could have blagged its way round the similarities if Primal were set in the prehistoric Himalayas, 12,000 years before the events of 4, but alas, it actually takes place in central Europe, as the many making-of videos have taken pains to highlight.



The fact that nobody noticed while playing is testament to the thoroughness of the conversion, so what happens in future will depend on how much people care. Would you feel duped if whole-scale map reuse has indeed taken place, or do you simply not care given that it's only noticeable from an owl-eye view?

NASA - ‪‪International Space Station - ‪Scott Kelly‬‬ Astronaut

"I have taken a lot of pictures because I've been up here for a long time," NASA astronaut Scott Kelly said during a recent press conference from the International Space Station. "I've definitely taken some good ones and some memorable ones."



When he returns to Earth on Tuesday evening, Kelly will have spent 340 days aboard the ISS. While that's not quite a year, it's still a record for an American astronaut, and one of the longest-lasting spaceflights ever.







Kelly is not the only member of his family to visit the station. His twin brother, Mark Kelly, was also an astronaut, and flew multiple shuttle missions to the orbiting outpost. The twins grew up in West Orange, N.J., as the sons of police officers. "We lived a pretty exciting and adventurous life," Scott says of his childhood.







Scott Kelly takes his images through the windows of the Space Station's cupola module. It might give the impression that he lives and works with the Earth constantly in view, but that's not the case. Most of the space station's rooms are fluorescent-lit boxes. "You don't get real sunlight," he says.







His photographs have captured some stunning views of Earth at all times of the day and night. The process of photography has changed his perspective on the planet. "The more I look at Earth, and certain parts of Earth, the more I feel [like] an environmentalist," Kelly says. "It's just a blanket of pollution in certain areas. We can fix that if we put our minds to it."







Photography was one small part of Kelly's mission. He conducted numerous experiments, some to determine how space was affecting his health, and others to test new technologies, like a dedicated greenhouse for growing plants in zero gravity. NASA hopes the knowledge gained from his extended mission will prepare the space agency for lengthy missions to places like Mars.









Kelly's photographs have won the astronaut nearly a million followers on Twitter, but he says taking the pictures is only a small part of why he's there. Kelly believes in space flight, and in humanity's future beyond the confines of Earth. "The thing I like most about flying in space is not the view," says Kelly. "The thing I like about it is doing something I feel very, very strongly about."
